Thunder- Imagine Dragons Sometimes you just have to play it based on how you feel. Feels Right: Galloway Remix – Jocelyn Alice & Galloway Here is another one that will not allow you to frown while you are listening. Up Around the Bend- Creedence Clearwater Revival Get fired up for your next appointment with this little gem from AJR. I could hang on to these word for days! Learn To Let Go- KeshaĪre you hanging on to some shit from your past? I prescribe that you listen to this song. Guess what? I killed it! Come Alive- Hugh Jackman- The Greatest Showman As for this song, I listened to this driving up to a real estate conference where I was speaking in front of hundreds of people. If you get the chance- go seem them live. Walk the Moon is one of my all time favorite bands, up there with Kygo. If you work in a male-dominated field this song will speak into your soul. Express Yourself- Charles Wright & The Watts Dancing in the Moon Light- Jubel, NEIMYĪre you in the mood to dance? I got you! Jubel killed this remix. Okay? It’s like the American Authors are personally giving you permission to do your own thing. I first heard this song at Tony Robbin’s Date with Destiny event and I have been listening to it ever since. “ Keep your silver, give me that gold” All these lyrics! Keep them coming!! Wake Me Up- Avicii This song will get you dancing and loving yourself! Unstoppable- The Score Self-love is SO important for your mental health and well-being. I dare you not to smile while listening to this driving around town! Love Myself- Hailee Steinfeld Not only is it a great pump up song for the beat alone, but the lyrics are deeper than you’d expect- How’s “ You know all the answers must come from within” for introspection? Shotgun- George Ezra This 70s classic is fitting for this list. “ Be something greater, Go make a legacy, Manifest destiny.” & “ Rewrite your histories, Light up your wildest dreams.” I mean come on?! Does it get better?! Free Ride- The Edgar Winter Group I can’t stop singing this song! High Hopes- Panic! At The Disco When Embody released this remake my 11 year old self screamed at the top of her lungs with joy. That cassette was Des’ree’s “You Gotta Be”. In the mid 90’s I spent a good portion of my time rewinding a particular cassette tape and listening to it over and OVER again. This song will give you the chills and a little fire in your soul. Listening to this song is the happiest way to start your day. This one is a great reminder that you are closer to your goals than you think. “ Nothing can stop me, I’m all the way up!” Need I say more? Ain’t Got Far To Go- Jess Glynne Legendary! It is impossible to not get a boost of confidence after listening to these lyrics. Must be the MONEY!! Everything about this song lifts my mood. Millionaire- Cash Cash & Digital Farm Animals You know Kygo had to be on the list! This song builds in all the right ways. Whether you are getting ready for a sales presentation, working out, or preparing for a speech, I know you will find something that will elevate your mood and give you that little boost to make whatever you are doing extraordinary! Sunrise- Kygo feat. I hope you find some songs you’ve never heard before, some that bring you back and smile, and that all of them get you pumped up! That is why I have put together this list of mega-super awesome, freshy-fresh, pump up songs with a ton of variety. Again, even Eye of the Tiger can become mundane- it’s science. It also has proven that playing a variety of different types of music can boost dopamine, which is why it is a great idea to change it up. Research has shown that music is a very powerful neurological tool that helps us change our mindset and mood. I can tell you music makes the difference. And, I have arrived at sales appointments when I DID listen to music on the way. I’ve arrived at sales appointments in which I did NOT listen to music on the way there. Music can be your superpower! I know from experience. It can change your mood, spark memories and evoke a trillion different emotions. I believe music is such a great way to get you motivated and pumped up. Eye of the Tiger is a classic and Rocky is a hero, but it is also a little played out.
